The guesthouse across from the school had opened one week earlier. We gambled on the map, rolled there at 10:30 in the heat, and the sign was there.

The workshop was probably the best yet. All ages, a big crowd, curious and smiling. Kids attempting to duel, to ride tandem, and to hold lotuses after I showed them some moves. Charming applause after my runs.

One guy, Thuy, takes charge. He really gets it, and he helps the kids, telling them what I advised. Arms out. Eyes straight ahead. Breathing. He's stoked, and he challenges me to a duel. We put him in charge of the line and taught him the rigging and the derigging.

"Too much mountain!"
