Logan Scholfield

He rode all four Balance Odyssey tours, and the Myanmar diary is his.

Logan and Ray Marceau conceived Balance Odyssey together: tour the world with slacklines, and gift the sport and the experience of balance along the way.

In 2012 he drove the Volvo from Atlanta into Mexico with Kirk and Daniel Cammardella, climbed his first multi-pitch at El Potrero Chico, and rode on from Belize with Ray and Daniel. From the road he wrote about what a day costs, breathing underwater off Utila, and, the day a CNN segment aired, what the odyssey is for, in Spanish.

In 2015 he and Kiel Kohler rode from Vietnam to Thailand. In 2016 he rode out of Yangon with Corey McCarthy, Ray joined them at Bagan, and his notes became the Myanmar diary: about 2,000 kilometers, and nine slacklines left along the way. In 2017 he and Ray spent thirty-four days riding El Oriente, taking turns in the notes.
